Happy 13th Birthday, Nicole Johnson!
Our day began early when we saw Dad off on his week in the city, but we followed that up with a nap with Mom and Silkie; Tai Chi was indoors; and then we had a hot breakfast before heading off to school while Mom started to catch up on her work after a week away from home. Academic adventures were not newsworthy today, but we had fun; and then we got back to playing at the lab or archives while our best friends began to return to their ‘normal’ lives too after taking care of us last week. Mom came to the lab to play with us too – after sharing the picnic dinner with us that she brought along; we stayed there until eight-thirty; and then came home for the night.
We have snow in the forecast overnight, so we pretty much decided to get ready for bed and call it a night after taking Silkie out for a bedtime walk, so once we wrap up this report; we’re going to crash and nap for the rest of the night. That might not sound very exciting, but we’re good with resting up a bit this week if we can, since our Thanksgiving week should be very exciting; and we definitely want to be ready to play while Cassie, Michael, and some of our favorite collegians are home for their reading week and the holiday! That’s also all we have for now; so we’ll get started on that quality down time.
