Heirs of the Magi News Flash!

***Heirs of the Magi News Flash!*** The annual fall festival is now behind us, and Cassie and Michael are heading out on their fall trip - this time to the South Pacific! They'll miss out on the Halloween fun at home and the rest of the high school football season, but all of that time in tropical paradises will likely be worth those little sacrifices! Some favorite grandparents will be away for adventures in Arizona or elsewhere too, but our favorite Magi staying at home are sure to have a lot of fun anyway. We'll have all of the adventure highlights from home and away right here for you each day; so... ...Visit Witch Falls often to keep up with all of our latest stories; and Happy Reading! P.S. Thank-you to everyone enjoying our stories from Witch Falls as we have passed five-hundred thousand views!

Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - November 10, 2022

Ethan and Aiden:

This has been a weird weather day.  The high temperature happened overnight and it has been cooling toward freezing since then – a bit of a shock from the high-seventies yesterday and high-sixties this morning!  We loved the warm for Tai Chi this morning, and the rain that started this afternoon wasn’t as fun.  We’re actually going to get a rain-snow mix that could hit anytime now; and that’s why our entertainment plans were canceled.  Instead of playing after school or going to game night at the Inn, we were set to work getting our houses and even two businesses ready for the risk of ice, snow, and below-freezing temperature.

The work was needed, so we aren’t complaining about that at all.  We made sure that bags of salt were ready at six homes and the bakery and salon; snow shovels were readied – though we probably won’t need them in the morning because the ground is still fairly-warm; and winter gear was rounded up because we’ll definitely need those coats, hats, gloves, and boots.

I’m with Aiden tonight while Ehlana is at Naomi’s house, but we did a lot of that work together until dinnertime; split up for that meal; and worked separately after that.  Game night at the Inn went ahead without us, but we’ve already heard that there was a low turn-out; and that is apparently because Mom and Aunt Leanne are away.  There might be something to that theory, since they are very popular; and we won’t try to mess up any of those jokes with weather-related facts! ;^)

Aiden and I are having an early night; so that’s all we have for this report.  We want to get the extra sleep now to be ready for whatever the last school day and weekend bring; so stay tuned for that while we eventually get around to living those adventures!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
