Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - March 5, 2022

Ethan and Ehlana:

It did not cool down overnight, so it was awesome to start our day with Tai Chi by the river this morning – and get to do that with Mom, Dad, Naomi, and Aiden!  A hot breakfast followed the workout; and then the minor downside to the awesome weather was the opportunity for some outdoor chores that we ended up doing at three homes.  It’s a bit early for spring clean-ups when we still have weeks of winter to go, but the warm weather worked for jobs like cleaning windows; washing vehicles; and sweeping porches and sidewalks.  We worked until twelve-thirty; had a soup and mini-subs lunch; and then Mom and Dad set us free for some biking and park play time.  Naomi and Aiden stayed with us for that; we met up with some other friends; and played until late-afternoon when some rain moved into the area.

Naomi headed home then; Aiden went to the bakery; and we’ve been home with Mom and Dad since then.  We helped out with making dinner; enjoyed that meal in the sunroom; and our evening has included work in the office and a Magi lesson.  Bath or Jacuzzi time followed the work; we had a music practice after getting cleaned up; and now we’re multi-tasking a movie with our bedtime computing and twin chat.  That’s pretty much all we have for today; so let’s move on – or back up – to the news from last night.  The dinner and movie time with our family and friends was awesome; the co-ed sofa sleepover with Naomi and Aiden included a bonus movie after the rest of our guests left; and the important news is that we collectively shared a lot of love, joy, and happiness – something that the world needs a lot more of right now.

The happy thoughts and feelings continue now, so we are not going to counter that with commentary on all of the continuing bad happening elsewhere.  We have a movie to continue watching, and don’t have anything else to add tonight; so we’ll get back to the ‘real’ world and wind down toward nap time.

Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
