Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - March 24, 2022

Ethan and Ehlana:

Happy 5th Birthday, William Connor!

Happy 22nd Birthday, Ryan Cross!

We haven’t had any involvement in either birthday today, but mention them for family or friend connections.  In Ryan’s case, that’s because Cassie and Michael joined in for his celebrations and also made that a last get-together for their group ahead of spring break.  That’s happy news for us because our favorite collegians will be home by sometime late tomorrow night; and we can hardly wait for them to get here!

We need to back up to the rest of the news from yesterday; so let’s do that.  Hannah’s birthday dinner was awesome, but didn’t go late because Aiden’s Dad still needs to turn in early to be ready for his early work day starts at the bakery.  We are not going to comment on any details from that kid-free night regardless of what time it started or ended.  Our evening after that dinner was fun; included a Magi lesson with Mom; a movie in the lounge; some music play time; cuddling during the movie; and a co-ed sofa sleepover.  It was cold and wet out this morning, so Tai Chi was indoors; we had a hot breakfast; and then eventually headed for school and an uneventful blast of academic adventures.  The weather still wasn’t all that nice this afternoon, so we played at the lab after school; got home in time for dinner; and then our evening entertainment included game night at the Inn; a Magi lesson with Mom; some family business work; and a late bedtime that we’re just getting around to now – mostly because more of our work tonight needed to be done in ‘real’ time due to the need for internet access.

That’s also why we aren’t going to get into any other news tonight.  We need to crash and nap soon; that is an option right now; so we’re out of here and off to dreamland very soon.

Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
