***Heirs of the Magi News Flash!*** September 5, 2026 marks the 15th Anniversary of the Heirs of the Magi Blog! We want to take the opportunity to thank everyone for visiting and enjoying the adventures and stories from our favorite Magi Masters and their family and friends! We are also humbled to announce that just three months after reaching the one-million visitors milestone; we have now already doubled that number to pass the two-million milestone! That is a long way from where we started on September 5, 2011; and we are grateful for all of the support! Here in our magical little corner of the world, summer is ending and while Ethan, Ehlana, and their cousins and friends head back to school; most parents will enjoy the daily breaks while their work and play will transition into the normal fall schedules. Cassie and Michael will be getting ready for their fall work trip; and the adventures will continue if big and small ways as we head into the autumn months of 2026. Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - November 20, 2021

Ethan and Ehlana:

Happy not-really-belated 6^th Birthday, Yvonne York!

Naomi’s video chat with her cousin happened after our last update and while we were still on the road; so we did offer her our best wishes during her birthday party.

This report is pre-football, but we’re writing it early because we might not have time to do it later. We got to Cassie’s townhouse in good time last night – though only some of us made that stop while everyone else headed for the hotel. Our first visits were fairly-short because Michael and Tim had a game-night curfew, so we had fun with that while we could; and then Cassie and Rowen hosted a Christmas movie and chat night for us – and Naomi and Aiden while everyone else moved on to the hotel too. We stayed up too late; and then wrapped up our day with co-ed sofa sleepovers for the two junior couples while Cassie and Rowen went to get some sleep with their own favorite cuddle buddies.

We were up early for Tai Chi in the back yard; met up with our entire gang for breakfast; and then Michael and Tim had to get to the college for team-related work while the rest of us went Christmas shopping for the morning. We couldn’t do that with our entire gang, so we split up into smaller groups. Cassie was with us for a lot of the shopping fun while Rowen helped to entertain her family, Tim’s, and some friends from home. Michael’s cousins were with us for some of the time too, but Sophia Bassett was the only kid to hang out with us all morning. This round of Christmas fun has been very different from our usual annual trips to Crystal Springs, but we still managed to get a lot done this morning; and then we had a fast food lunch before going to the hotel or Cassie’s townhouse to drop off bags and freshen up ahead of the mid-afternoon football game. We’ve done all of that, and will be heading over to the college stadium soon; so that’s all we have time for this report.
