Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - November 16, 2021

Ethan and Ehlana:

Happy 14th Birthday, Kaitlyn!

We haven’t talked with Kaitlyn today, but Mom and Dad did this morning; and we’ve heard that she’s had a happy day.

Since our last update, both of our school days have been fun and included extra outdoor fun to go along with two tests and one project presentation.  Play afternoons with our friends both days after school were awesome, and while we enjoyed the warm temperature yesterday; today was even better with a high in the mid-seventies!  Dinner at Naomi’s house last night was pizzeria pizza and sides with Olde Bakery desserts, so that worked for all of the kids in the house; and then our evening included video games, co-ed cuddle time while watching a movie; and a not-too-early bedtime that wasn’t co-ed because Eli had Zack staying overnight too.  They were less-annoying than usual; so we can’t complain about having a ‘normal’ sleepover.

While we were busy with school or play time, some of our favorite Moms must have enjoyed their kid-free time that included Christmas shopping, a couple of fast food meals, and one fine dining event for everyone that stayed in the city for the night.  The last fast food fix was to go; so Mom, Aunt Leanne, and the other two-day shoppers were home and had their vehicles unpacked by the time we got home from school.  WE got the kid-rated travel details while having a snack break and chat with Mom; did the biking and play time thing with our friends after that until near-dark; and then we were at home in time for dinner-for-three with Mom and a quiet work evening that just wrapped up with bath or Jacuzzi time that two of us needed after the outdoor play time.

We can’t write about any Christmas details that might be read by anyone between now and Christmas, so that’s all we have for tonight; and it is time to crash and nap now anyway.

Until next time... this is Ethan and Ehlana Proctor; live from the hidden home of the Magi of the Light – and May the Magi Force be with you!
