Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - October 14, 2020

Ehlana, Ethan, Naomi, and Aiden:

Zack and Eli tried their best to mess up our Tai Chi workout this morning, but failed; and only added to the fun as four of us successfully stayed focused on our forms and avoided laughing at them until after we’d finished exercising.  That start to our day continued through breakfast, but we won’t get into the details of Zack and Eli’s food fun; and you really don’t want to know anyway – regardless of how far into the future you’re reading this journal.  We were glad to get to school – and away from the prank-namic duo; and we had a really good day that included lots of outdoor time while taking advantage of another awesome weather day.

With the temperature climbing above eighty this afternoon; you won’t be surprised to know that we went biking on the trails and played at the park after checking in with Aiden’s parents at the bakery and then dropping off overnight bags for three of us that were moved from Naomi’s house.  The play time ended a bit earlier than needed, but we wanted to get to Aiden’s house and start working on the music for our Naomi and the Phantoms costumes-act.  Aiden’s parents helped us out with that by going with another pizzeria pizza night for dinner, and even though we ate a lot of festival booth food over the weekend; we’re okay with a couple of fast food meals from our favorite – and only – pizzeria!

The Moms, by the way, are already drafted to help out with our costumes, and since Mom is in the city; she’s looking for clothes or material that can be used and made to look ghostly for three of us.  We might be getting a bit carried away with the idea, but making up our ‘back story’ is entertaining; and we’re shooting for something better than what happened to the band in the show.  Was dying from bad hot dogs really the best that Hollywood could come up with for their untimely demise?  Considering the history of our little town; we can do better! ;^)

Moving along, we had an audience for the evening side of our practice; wrapped up when Aiden’s Dad needed to head for bed; and worked on lyrics and music arrangements after that – using headphones or earbuds to do that without bothering anyone else.  We’ve moved on to the co-ed cuddling now while listening to music videos and having our bedtime chat.  Multi-tasking this update is getting in the way of quality cuddle time for two of us, though, and we don’t really have anything to add tonight; so we’ll wrap this up and finish winding down to nap time.

This is Ehlana Proctor and gang; live from the hidden home of the Magi of the Light – and May the Magi Force be with you!
