Ethan:
Tai Chi for six was different from
yesterday because we had Cassie and Michael with us instead of Naomi and Aiden;
but just as much fun. Breakfast was
quiet because our four teens were at Michael’s for a gourmet breakfast with his
family while we had an easier breakfast-for-four here. Madelana and Stefan’s first visit to our
church was entertaining, but neither of them have spent much time in any
churches; and likely only went along to find out at least a bit more about
Cassie and Michael. They definitely
enjoyed the play afternoon more. We went
shopping, visited the museum; biked the trails; and had some play time at the
park before getting cleaned up and ready for the buffet at the Inn.
I’ll guess that was their highlight of the
day; and then we’ve wrapped up our day with a quiet evening at home that has
included video gaming for the guys and a mini-makeover for Ehlana – along with
a lot of chat time for all of us. Ehlana
and I have to go back to school tomorrow, so I need to wrap this up; and get
some sleep. We’ve had an awesome break
even if it didn’t include any major adventures; and we’ll still get to have fun
with our favorite collegians while they’re home too; so back-to-school won’t
also mean back-to-normal – at least for this coming week.
That is it for tonight, though; so I’m
going to get started on that nap time and be ready for all of the work and fun
ahead.

Ehlana:
I did not need the mini-makeover, but we
had fun with it anyway. Ethan’s covered
the news, but I’ll add that Madelana and Stefan are enjoying their visit so
far; but they’re also definitely doing that in a ‘nice place to visit’ sort of
way. I’m not suggesting that May’s
reaction was all that much different, since I don’t expect she’ll ever feel the
urge to move here too, but she does actually love it here; while I don’t get
that same sense from Madelana and Stefan.
We’ll be stuck at school next week, but our
favorite teens will need time for their Spring break studies; so they’ll do
that while we’re out anyway; and I’ll hope that we’ll still get to spend some
quality play time with them. I’ll keep
you posted on that, but I don’t really have anything else to add to this
report; so I’ll wrap it up and get some sleep now too.
