Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - November 12, 2024

Ehlana and Ethan:

We have been spoiled so far this fall, since a near-freezing start to our day had us choosing to keep Tai Chi indoors this morning.  The high today only reached the mid-fifties, but then that wasn’t a big deal for us; since we were at school for our academic adventures and the school band practice; and then we brought our four best friends home with us for dinner and a study-work-play evening.  The food fun was good; we loved the group Magi lesson with Mom; and the rest of our evening included music practices, doing our homework, and some teen chat time that went along with listening to some music and some co-ed cuddle time in the lounge.  Our friends headed for their homes at ten o’clock; Ethan and I walked Naomi and Aiden home while taking Silkie for a bedtime walk; and we’ve been winding down toward bedtime since then with the usual computer checks and twin chat.

That’s all of the news we have for today, but Cassie and Michael have already moved on from Niger to Mali, and while their two days in Niger were challenging; they’re happy with everything they accomplished in a short time and hope that our partners in that country will be able to continue to help a lot of people despite the bad guys that want to mess with our projects.  They are working too much this week, but that was part of the plan; and they’ll be able to rest up a bit once home again and staying here for the rest of the year.  Their Wednesday will be starting soon; and they’ll get a big chuck of their work day finished while we’re napping.  Ethan and I are ready to get started on that down time now too; so that’s all we have for this report.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
