Ehlana and Ethan:
Our day began with Tai Chi by the river for eight, and while Sophia and Aaron are beginners; they are catching on fast and enjoy getting to do that with us when they can. Cassie and Michael had a hot breakfast for us; we then spent the morning working on chores at a handful and change of houses; and then we met up again for lunch and a play afternoon with Cassie and Michael. That meal was really just a snack; the biking and play time included some shopping at the Galleria and a Pizzeria pizza snack break; and then our friends headed for their own homes to spend time with their own families while Ethan and I spent the rest of the day with Cassie and Michael – and Silkie and Mandy.
We have not heard from Mom and Dad at all, but then we might not want most of their getaway weekend details anyway! If they do have any interesting and kid-friendly stories for us after they get home again; we’ll pass them along.
As for our Friday evening fun and start to our spring break, the biking and fun with Cassie, Michael, and a small gang of friends and cousins was great; and the rest of our evening was awesome too through dinner, a music jam session, a bit of video gaming for the boys, and two movies before we got around to the co-ed nap time. As for tonight, we’ve enjoyed some quality chat time along with another movie, but bath or Jacuzzi time was needed too; and now we’re all ready to catch up on our sleep. That’s also pretty much all we have for tonight; so that’s all for this report.
