Some favorite grandparents will be away for adventures in Arizona or elsewhere too, but our favorite Magi staying at home are sure to have a lot of fun anyway. We'll have all of the adventure highlights from home and away right here for you each day; so... ...Visit Witch Falls often to keep up with all of our latest stories; and Happy Reading! P.S. Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - November 15, 2023

Ethan and Ehlana:

Happy 1st Birthday, Georgia McEwan!

While we hope that Georgia has had a happy day and while we were in on the usual family gift that was sent to her; our thoughts on that little story are about babies – including the one that Georgia’s Mom is carrying.  Savannah is now four months along; so Georgia is going to have a little brother or sister by mid-April.  That also has us thinking about Rebecca; she’s about a month behind Savannah; and yes, we find it interesting that Rebecca’s and Jonathan’s kids are so close in age!  We’ve had so many family-and-friends’ baby stories over the past few years; this feels like a bit of a break by comparison – though that’ll likely be a short pause; since Cassie and Michael have a lot of friends getting married and ready to start their families.  We’ll keep you posted on that, but let’s move on to our own news of the day.

Tai Chi by the river was cold, but we went out anyway; we had a hot breakfast because we cooked it and cleaned up the mess afterward; and then our school day was fun and not very newsworthy – unless you’re into tests, research, and one primary grade music practice.  The weather continues to be good with a high in the mid-sixties, so we went out to bike and play with our friends after checking in with Mom and getting a travel report that didn’t include any news we didn’t want or need about Mom’s sleepover with Dad!  They did have fun with their dinner with the Malloys; Mom took care of some supply shopping; and picked up the usual fast food fix for Aunt Leanne that she brought to her in time for lunch today.  While we kept that after-school chat too-short, we really did want to enjoy the biking on the trails while we could; and made up for that with a longer chat during dinner and then this evening when we all went to play at the lab or archives.  Mom spent a bit more time with me in the archives, but she helped Ehlana too; and we used a time phase over the entire lab building so that we could collectively get more work done tonight.

We came home at ten-thirty – after the equivalent of about six hours of work; bath or Jacuzzi time was needed; and we’ve been working on our computers and chatting since then.  Ehlana is fired up again tonight, so we’ve stayed up later than we should have, but we’ve done some charity work along with the usual computer checks and keeping up with the news of the day; so we’re feeling pretty good about everything we’ve gotten done today.  That might even come close to the work that Cassie and Michael did today in Peru, but they still win the day for getting to work in an amazing, tropical place! ;^)

We really should get some sleep soon; so that’s all for tonight.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
