Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - January 7, 2023

Ethan and Ehlana:

We’ve had a pretty good day, but don’t really have much news to offer for this update.  The weather wasn’t great for the last Saturday of our Christmas break, but the small amount of freezing rain and a dash of snow really didn’t mess up our day either – except for some work to salt sidewalks and driveways that kept us busy for a couple of hours at multiple homes.  Naomi and Aiden spent a lot of the day with us, but we also did chores at three homes for a lot of the morning; and our afternoon play time was indoors and seemed quiet compared to the past couple of weeks.

Ehlana and I have had a very quiet evening, since all of our favorite collegians are out tonight and our best friends are with their own families tonight because we’ve apparently been keeping them to ourselves too much of the time!  While Mom had the quiet time available, she did a Magi lesson with us after our dinner-for-four; we worked on the family business in the office for an hour or so; and then we moved on to bath or Jacuzzi time that just wrapped up a little while ago.  Now we’re probably just going to go get some sleep instead of waiting around for late-night bedtime chats with any collegians; so that’s all we have for this report.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
