Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - February 19, 2022

Ethan and Ehlana:

Happy 26th Birthday, Christina!

Before we get into our own news of the day; Christina is hopefully having a happy day – and we’re not just suggesting that because they’re getting a kid-free night! ;^)

We haven’t really been involved in her special day beyond a quick visit this morning.  Mom and Dad went out to the birthday dinner with adult family and friends; and we were junior babysitters for the cousins and some friends with help from Naomi and Aiden.  Some grandparent support was also available during our own dinner, but they left us to keep the kids entertained during the early evening.  The younger couples had a continuing party at Sheldon’s after dinner, but most of the ‘aunts and uncles’ opted for going home from the Inn.

Now let’s cover our story starting with the end of our last report.

We don’t actually have much news from last night.  We had a nice, quiet dinner with Mom; watched movies all evening; and Dad fell asleep during the movie that he and Mom didn’t end up watching much of with us after he got home from Crystal Springs.  We stayed up later; had fun with the co-ed sofa sleepover; and that was it for last night.

Tai Chi was indoors this morning; we ended up doing chores at two homes each – with all four of us here for a Magi-powered clean-up; and then I went to help Aiden at his house while Ehlana helped Naomi.  We were with our own families for lunch and the afternoon; Mom and Dad hosted the babysitting dinner and evening; and we’ve been on our own with just the four of us since nine-thirty.

It didn’t get very warm today, so we didn’t have much outdoor time today; which is why we don’t have any outdoor play news to offer – even though we did have the snow sticking around that won’t last too-long as we head into another little blast of warming again.  We wrapped up our day with bath or Jacuzzi time; and now we’re ready to crash and nap for the rest of the night – so we will!

Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
