Ethan and Ehlana:
The movie, cuddle time, and co-ed sofa sleepover at Naomi’s last night was so great that we’re hosting another best friends’ sleepover tonight. That’s why this update is early; since we’re going to have fun from now through to tomorrow; and don’t want to take any breaks for journal entries or any of our usual bedtime computing.
Tai Chi in Naomi’s back yard this morning was chilly as the temperature dropped for a day; we had a hot breakfast; and then our parents collectively put us to work on chores until lunchtime. We were allowed to work together at the three houses; Mom hosted our lunch break; and then we went shopping – mostly so the girls could get in on the annual home town sale that goes along with the shopping trip to the city day. Since Mom and Aunt Leanne weren’t co-coordinating that trip this year, it wasn’t a major event by comparison, but we do know that there were more than fifty shoppers in the city today; and it was different to be staying home this year. We did have fun with that blast of shopping; brought bakery snacks home for our break and desserts for the next few days; and we’re now doing this update while Naomi and Aiden are at their own homes packing overnight bags.
We need to go soon and help Mom with making dinner, so the rest of our news of the day can wait for our next report – not that we expect to have anything beyond the current plan for Christmas movies and another co-ed sofa sleepover. It really is time for us to get moving again, and we’ve multi-tasked getting the lounge ready for the evening too; so, until next time...
