Ethan and Ehlana:
We were up early – as usual – to see Dad off on his trip to the city. It has been a long day since then; so let’s make this report a quick one.
Tai Chi by the river for three was chilly, but it warmed up nicely today – which is why it was tough to pick working at the lab or archives over biking and playing with our friends after school. Our academic adventures were all holiday related; and we’re pretty much just playing this week as we head into the Christmas break. Our lab or archives play time was great; Mom brought a picnic dinner for us; and we stayed and worked until a bit after eight o’clock. A Magi lesson followed; we took Silkie for a bedtime walk; and then we wrapped up our day with a music practice while Mom opted for some quiet, quality Jacuzzi time.
That’s pretty much it for us, but we should add that Cassie, Michael, and then friends are busy with their first day of exams and studying for the exams they still need to write this week. Michael and Tim have to add in daily football training; and they’ve decided that one year of college ball has been enough for them – especially when they’re working about twenty-eight hours a day. Yes, Cassie is helping them with that as well as daily healing; so we’re glad that this is a one-season deal for her too.
Mom is going to be in the city tomorrow and Wednesday, and we’ll be with Naomi tomorrow night; so we should wrap this up and get enough rest to be ready to keep up with our best friends.
