Happy 46th Birthday, Claire – Mrs. Norton!
Mom and Dad helped Claire out with having a happy birthday, including with a lunch at the Inn, but other than wishing her a happy day; we weren’t involved in her celebrations today.
Getting back to school was fun, and the post-holiday story time was good too; so with the continuing warm weather and only a dash or three of rain this morning; everything added up to an awesome day for us – even without the birthday-rated adventures. While it was nice out this afternoon, we still opted to get back to work in the lab this afternoon – entirely because one of us wanted to get in on the work that Uncle Adam and Dillon are leading into all of the Covid vaccines. That might sound easy, but actually testing what the vaccines are doing to cells and DNA is very complicated, and we want to make sure that our families, friends, and neighbors are safe whenever we are ready to offer whichever vaccine proves to be best – if any of them do earn our stamp of approval. We don’t need to get into the details for that, but if we don’t like any of our results from these tests, we’re still looking at a combined placebo shot put together with a Magi-powered immunity that wouldn’t have any side-effect risks. As long as everyone has the antibodies to protect them – and pass any tests too; the only major problem with making that happen is doing that for a couple of thousand people without them knowing it. We’ll keep you posted on that project; and expect to make some decisions on that very soon.
We played at the lab until dinnertime; that was a late meal hat included grilled burgers and jumbo hotdogs with salad sides; and then we’ve had a quiet work-study evening since then. That’s pretty much all of the news we have for today, and we’re ready to get some sleep now too; so, until next time...
