Happy 18th Birthday, Scott Faulkner!
We didn’t have anything to do with Scott’s special day beyond being in on the group gift with Cassie and Michael, but we’re sure that Geraldine, Patrick, Jessica, and the rest of their friends helped Scott with having a happy day. This will likely be Scott’s last birthday at home for a handful of years since he’ll be heading off to college in August, but let’s not get into that tonight; since quite a few of our favorite teens will be going away to school over the next couple of years – including his girlfriend and their best friends.
Our day hasn’t been birthday-party-amazing, but we have had a good day so far. Mom and Dad had some chores for us this morning, but set us free in time to enjoy most of the warmest weather of the day. While we worked, Naomi and Aiden did the same with their families – either at home or the bakery; and then we took a picnic lunch along for the biking and park adventures that ended up including a ride out to our favorite caves for some early-spring exploring. We had fun with all of that, but now we’re back at home to pack overnight bags for the sleepover adventure we’re having with Naomi at Aiden’s house. His parents are taking a turn with having us at their place, and thanks to Eli going to Zack’s for the night; two sets of parents are also getting a kid-free night.
We’ll have the rest of the news for our sleepover adventures with the next update, but we’re leaving our computers at home tonight; really want to get back to the fun with our best friends; and don’t have anything else to add for this report; so, until next time...
