Happy 10th Birthday, Naomi!
Now that one of us is starting her second decade, while that isn’t actually a major kid-milestone; double-digit age does get us a bit closer to the tween and teen years.
Naomi’s day began with a mini-makeover with her Mom and a special family breakfast; the rest of us met up with her early for a bit of pre-school birthday fun; and then we kept the fun going as much as possible while at school. That included a special birthday lunch that included pizzeria pizza because it was our pizza day this week anyway. There were birthday cupcakes that we shared until we ran out; and more gifts for Naomi.
Her party began after school with a couple of social hours that included video gaming that was mostly for the guys; music and girl chat time for the girls; and social distancing that just made the party a bit weird. Another pizzeria pizza meal was a hit with our friends; the Olde Bakery cakes were as awesome as always; and Naomi loved the rest of her gifts too.
There was an hour or so of wind-down to the party after dinner, but Naomi didn’t want to have the entire gang here all evening so that we could watch a movie and have some quality co-ed cuddle time instead. That plan works for all of us – and we’re just getting into the first – and probably only – movie. We really want to have fun with that; which is why that’s all we have for today. I’ll include any news from the rest of our night with the next update if needed, though we don’t expect that to be a problem; since Eli was sent home with Zack for the night; and we will probably just cuddle and chat our way into the co-ed sofa sleepover part of Naomi’s special day!
