Ehlana and Ethan:
The camping last night ended with
all-night, co-ed cuddling for us with Naomi and Aiden because we fell asleep
while having our bedtime chat and cuddle; we got razzed about that this morning
while at least one of our teen cousins was jealous that we could get away with
that without getting into trouble with the parents. ;^)
We’ve had a quiet play day today as
planned; with lots of lazy swimming and just hanging out in the back yard or
around town without any major effort at adding in any extreme fun after a bit
too-much exercise yesterday – at least for some of our cousins. Our campground needed to be packed up today
because of the forecast risk of rain and thunderstorms; so the visiting cousins
are doing another night of sleepovers with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and-or
cousins. Violet and Dillon have Jaimie
and Kaitlyn with them tonight; and probably had Micah and Jeremy with them for
most of the evening too – if they’re not still there as we’re writing this
update.
Our house is guest-free tonight – mostly because
the other parents decided that Mom and Dad needed another break. A kid-free night was also an option, but we
collectively decided to take advantage of the opportunity to have a Magi lesson
this evening and do some work in the office instead. Bath and Jacuzzi time was also high on our
to-do lists tonight; and we had a music practice too between the work, lessons,
and tub time. Getting a good night of
sleep is now an option too, and we don’t really have any news from home to add;
so we’ll wrap this up; move on; and get started on those naps very soon.
Stay tuned, since by morning, we’ll be
fully re-charged; and ready for the next blast of adventures with our cousins,
family, and friends!
