Ehlana and Ethan:
We have surprise early-arrival guests
today; so this update is early because we’ll be too-busy having fun later to
spend time on our computers. Uncle
Blaine, Aunt Alison, and their kids are here already – entirely so that Uncle
Blaine can do some work here in town tomorrow – and possibly on Friday too.
Compared to that news, our morning at the
lab or archives isn’t exciting, but we had fun there too; and were glad for the
thunderstorms and rain this morning that made the play time there an option
while the great outdoors dried up from that blast of wet. We were home in time for lunch; went out to
play with our besties for a couple of hours that included biking the trails and
swimming in the river; and we’ve been setting up tents for a
cousins-and-friends camping adventure that will be at our house tonight and
tomorrow night; and might get moved to the combined Carrington and Everett back
yards for the holiday weekend as more cousins arrive in town.
This update is coming to you while we
multi-task packing our bags for our tents – and there will be two of them
because we apparently need to set a good example for the teens and tweens that
we’ll be camping with! ;^)
The parents are having fun with that right
now, but that just has Naomi joking about sneaking into the guys’ tent just to
mess with them right back; so they might want to re-think any over-use of those
jokes. We do need to get back to hanging
out with our cousins and friends; so we’ll include the rest of the news from
today with our next report. Stay tuned;
since this might not be the last surprise of the holidays for us!
