Heirs of the Magi News Flash!

***Heirs of the Magi News Flash!*** The annual fall festival is now behind us, and Cassie and Michael are heading out on their fall trip - this time to the South Pacific! They'll miss out on the Halloween fun at home and the rest of the high school football season, but all of that time in tropical paradises will likely be worth those little sacrifices! Some favorite grandparents will be away for adventures in Arizona or elsewhere too, but our favorite Magi staying at home are sure to have a lot of fun anyway. We'll have all of the adventure highlights from home and away right here for you each day; so... ...Visit Witch Falls often to keep up with all of our latest stories; and Happy Reading! P.S. Thank-you to everyone enjoying our stories from Witch Falls as we have passed five-hundred thousand views!

Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - September 9, 2019

Ethan:

Our first Monday of the school year was a bit on the quiet side, so I’m going to leave the one news story of the day to Ehlana; move on; and wrap up my day with some reading in the digital archives until I’m ready to get some sleep.

Ethan – out!

Ehlana:

The big story of the day isn’t actually news for us, since we’ve known about it for a while, but it is news for most people in town; and the kids and teens were definitely talking about it at school.  Work on a new man-made lake at Quarry Lake started today; and we’re excited because it’s going to be a multi-use lake that will have new activities including aqua-bikes and paddleboats!  If all goes well; the second lake will be open next summer; and we’re going to want to spend a lot of time out there.

There isn’t really anything else newsworthy to add to this update.  Our school time was fun but not eventful; Ethan and I were at the lab or archives after that until dinnertime; and we had a quiet work and study evening in the office with Mom and Dad.  For this week; our play afternoons with our friends will be Tuesday and Thursday; though weather may affect that plan; and we’re willing to adapt if needed.  For now, that’s it; and while Ethan stays up and reads; I think that I’ll just call it a night and get some sleep.

This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live from what is now my past!
