Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - February 2, 2019

Ethan:

I haven’t expected to have such a quiet start to February, but I don’t have much to write about yet again today.  We had a chores morning here at home; spent the afternoon playing with our friends – with most of that fun being outdoors and snow-related; and then we were home for the rest of the day – again, without our best friends while they were busy with other plans.  A quiet night at home with Mom and Dad has been nice, but uneventful; and not just because we did a bit of work and studying before watching a movie and then heading up to our beds.  That will give us less work to do tomorrow – or at least that’s true for Dad, but we’ll see if that makes much of a difference; since Ehlana will want to play at the lab if that’s an option for tomorrow afternoon.

Whatever happens, I’ll stay caught up on my sleep, and we should be happy about the quiet, since with Dark Magi out there with a real hate for our family; we shouldn’t be hoping for too much excitement!

Ethan – out!

Ehlana:

I hope you don’t jinx us with comments like that one, Ethan!

While I don’t have any news to add, I will mention that our chores this morning included some Magi-powered work that made those chores fun to do; the snow play included a snowball fight that the girls’ team won; and some of that play time was supervised by aunts and uncles while our younger cousins joined in for some sledding and snowman – or snow-animal – making.

Now I’m ready to get some sleep, and if I end up having any Dark Magi nightmares; Ethan and I are going to have a little chat in the morning! ;^)

This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live from what is now my past!
