Cassie's Journal - March 23, 2018

I so need to stop setting up double updates!

Okay, here it goes; in micro-update format!

Yesterday morning started out great with breakfast at the Grand Canyon after an awesome second night of very chilly camping!  We said good-bye to that natural wonder of the world; headed for Phoenix and the much-warmer weather there; and did some quality sightseeing along the way that took until mid-afternoon.  That was all fun; we got back in time for a few hours of sun and fun in and around our hotel and the city; enjoyed a great meal out; and then Michael and I got to have our kid-free night while the parents and grandparents split up having all of the kids.  We went out for some night-time sightseeing; didn’t watch a movie back in our room; and you don’t need the details of the make-out time before we got around to the hotel sleepover! ;^)

Today has been another sun and fun day around here; we’ve mostly played outdoors and did a bit of shopping; had a couple of good meals at area restaurants that Grandma and Grandpa picked for us; and we went out to a movie tonight before coming back to the hotel to get some sleep.  I’ll be getting to that shortly, but needed to do my computer checks and a bit of family business work.  I’m back with the girls again tonight; though we’re hanging out with the boys for a while longer before we get around to the sleeping part of the night.  I should get back to that before I have to say goodnight to Michael, and while this doesn’t come close to covering all of the fun we’ve had over the past two days; it’ll have to do!  We’re running out of holiday time; I’m going to enjoy every minute of it while I can; and that is more fun than playing on my computer anymore; so, until next time...

...May the Magi Force be with you!
