The weather warmed a bit today – back up
into the low-seventies, but it was still cool at the Grand Canyon; so our
adventure today was a visit to Tombstone!
That was a lot of driving, but we had fun
with that – thanks to Grandpa and his talent for turning every road trip into
an adventure with fun little cameo stops along the way. I really loved the history side of our play
time today; and that really was amazing to share with Brianna – though she had
to wait to talk with us about a lot of what we did until we were alone in the
vans again and she could do that without attracting attention for being such a
brilliant toddler!
We had lunch in Tombstone; a nice dinner
about half-way back to Phoenix; and now we’re heading to bed because we’re definitely
going up to the Grand Canyon in the morning and will be camping there for one
or two nights – depending on the weather; since there’s some rain in the
forecast for Thursday. I’ll keep you
posted on that, but for now; that’s all I have for this report.
