Tai Chi by the river was a fun way to start
the day – especially when we had Uncle Adam and Aunt Leanne join us – along with
Naomi and Aiden. The work that went into
getting our gang of kids, babysitters, and parents fed and ready for church was
a crazy-busy ride that didn’t stop until we sat down in the sanctuary; and then
the rest of my morning was fairly busy because our Sunday school class worked
on more of the Easter sets and costumes until shortly before eleven o’clock. Michael and I then needed to hurry to the
Inn; and I worked the full shift until close after that.
The lunch rush was nearly a full house;
Michael and I did our homework during our afternoon break – and we only got out
of the cam tear-down because Rowen and Tim made sure that got done after church
while we were busy at the Inn. We did
our homework at my house; had a visit with Mom, Dad, and the twins too; and
then the dinner buffets kept me hopping straight through until my last
customers left and we could get the dining room cleaned and set up for the
Monday breakfast shift. It was ten-thirty
before Michael, Rebecca, and I walked home with their parents; I stopped in for
a bedtime cuddle with Michael; and then came home at a bit after eleven o’clock. Everyone was in bed by then, but I stopped in
to check on Ethan and Ehlana; kissed them goodnight; and had a micro-chat with
Ehlana when she woke up for a half-minute or so before drifting off to sleep
again. I would have liked to crawl into
bed and crash for the night then, but that wasn’t an option; so I got changed
and cleaned up; climbed into bed with Mandy and my computer; and got to work.
Four hours and change later; and I’m done
the work and studying – finally! I’m
also way-past exhaustion, since I used a fair bit of Magi power and a long
time-phase to help get everything done even that quickly; so I’ll spare you the
boring business news; and just wrap this up without any late-night ramblings.
That means no look ahead to next week;
though while we do have a couple of family birthdays coming up; it’ll be March
Break that everyone is going to be looking forward to most – or at least that’ll
be true for all of the students around here – and all of the teachers too. ;^)
I’d better not think about that too much
longer; or I won’t get right off to sleep – and I really, really need to do
that now.
Until next time...
...May the Magi Force be with you!
