Heirs of the Magi News Flash!

***Heirs of the Magi News Flash!*** The annual fall festival is now behind us, and Cassie and Michael are heading out on their fall trip - this time to the South Pacific! They'll miss out on the Halloween fun at home and the rest of the high school football season, but all of that time in tropical paradises will likely be worth those little sacrifices! Some favorite grandparents will be away for adventures in Arizona or elsewhere too, but our favorite Magi staying at home are sure to have a lot of fun anyway. We'll have all of the adventure highlights from home and away right here for you each day; so... ...Visit Witch Falls often to keep up with all of our latest stories; and Happy Reading! P.S. Thank-you to everyone enjoying our stories from Witch Falls as we have passed five-hundred thousand views!

Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - October 8, 2023

Ethan and Ehlana:

It warmed up a bit again today, but Tai Chi by the river was still chilly; and a hot breakfast helped us out with getting warm again.  We had a good morning at church and Sunday school; and then having Cassie and Michael join us for lunch ended up being a highlight of our day because they brought Sierra and Stuart with them while we ended up bringing Naomi, Aiden, Sophia, and Aaron home with us for both lunch and a play afternoon!  We helped out with the work and kid control around the meal; followed that up with a band practice that Cassie, Michael, and the kids watched for a while until Sierra and Stuart wanted to go and play at the park; and we continued our practice until we were ready for both our next recording session and the dance next Friday night.

While we’re thinking about that, we should have mentioned before now that we did not enter the talent competition for the fall festival this year, and that is entirely because we don’t want to become perennial winners when that competition is a big deal for a lot of kids and teens.  That’s a bit egotistical of us, but we also aren’t the only talented musicians around town willing to take turns at things like festival competitions instead of dominating them for years in a row.

Moving along, we went for a bike ride after the music fun; rode the trails and had a few park visits; and then we split up for the rest of the night.  Dinner was for four here at home; Mom did a Magi lesson with us after the clean-up; and we did some work in the office too before heading upstairs for bath or Jacuzzi time.  That brings us up to now and we really don’t have anything else to add for this update; so let’s just call it a night and we’ll go and get some sleep now!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
