Happy 2nd Birthday, Sierra Stone!
Sierra’s special day was the main reason for why our day was so awesome! Before we got to that fun, we had a normal morning and school day; and then we were in on a lot of the entertainment – and work – around Sierra’s party. We still had a quick band practice after school, but then we went to the Inn to help decorate for Sierra’s party; we were on kid control before and during the meal; and the food was awesome – especially for those of us that got to try out one of the specials that were offered to the party guests that wanted a bit more than standard kid-rated fare like burgers and chicken strips or wings! ;^)
Sierra’s party continued for everyone with the Christmas game night at the Inn; and that was awesome both for the fun and because Naomi and I won the junior title that we’ll keep until the New Year while Mom and Miranda won the senior title – as they usually do ahead of the two annual breaks from game nights. The gaming went late, so we haven’t been home for long; and Cassie and Michael are still with Sierra and her family – probably trying to wind her down from too much fun and sugar! We don’t have that problem – not because we didn’t munch on the amazing snacks, but because we’re tired and ready to crash. We also need to be ready for tomorrow and the school Christmas dance; so we’re going to wrap this up and get to the quality down time.
