Ethan and Ehlana:
The co-ed entertainment with our best friends last night was awesome; and our day-so-far today has made for a pretty good start to September too.
A yard work morning doesn’t rank very high on the fun meter for most kids and teens anywhere, but we’re okay with continuing to work ahead so that we’ll have the long weekend off. Since finishing today’s list of chores; we went for a long swim with our cousins and some friends; had lunch at home with Mom and a few parents and grandparents; and then we’ve had a no-plan play afternoon that has included biking; shopping; swimming; and an Emporium ice cream break. Naomi’s parents are hosting the barbeque dinner today ahead of the co-ed ball practice; we’ll be helping out with kid control all evening; and then we’ll be at Naomi’s for the night – along with Aiden and possibly Zack and Eli too. Those plans aren’t final – other than that we’ll be there for the night for sure; so that’s why we’re currently packing for the sleepover before heading over to Naomi’s house to help with the pre-dinner work.
