Some favorite grandparents will be away for adventures in Arizona or elsewhere too, but our favorite Magi staying at home are sure to have a lot of fun anyway. We'll have all of the adventure highlights from home and away right here for you each day; so... ...Visit Witch Falls often to keep up with all of our latest stories; and Happy Reading! P.S. Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - September 17, 2020

Ehlana and Ethan:

Our home-school day was good, but not newsworthy.  We were done early; went for a bike ride at the park; and then headed for the lab or archives for a couple of hours.  We got home late; had dinner; and then we’ve had a work and study night in the office with Mom since then.  The Magi lesson and music practice were the highlights of our evening; and that’s pretty much all we have for our own news of the day.

We’re overdue for a pandemic update, and while we’re not getting tired of the ongoing bad news; the continuing setting of new milestones – especially the ones that happen every few days; is becoming too-routine for us.  In this case, the top new numbers from the last couple of days include topping thirty million confirmed cases worldwide and passing two-hundred-thousand deaths in our country.  The pandemic deniers still manage to spin any statistics the way they want regardless of the facts, but we don’t really get either side of that argument; since we should all just care about losing anyone so needlessly; so maybe the top lesson from this pandemic ought to be that we should care more about everyone and stop thinking at all in terms of acceptable losses of life for any reason!

That’s turning into a bit of a rant, so we’ll stop there.  We wrap up this week with a school day, and Dad will be home tomorrow night; so we should go and get some sleep now anyway.

This is Ehlana and Ethan Proctor; live from the hidden home of the Magi of the Light – and May the Magi Force be with you!
