Rain overnight was welcomed by the farmers;
and then the hot, sunny day we’ve had since early-morning has been perfect for
all of us – even those of us who only got to enjoy the great weather while
studying for our final exams!
That is the full extent of my news for the
day. We did exam prep work at school;
studied for exams after school at my house; continued to study while Dad cooked
up hot dogs and burgers for us to go along with cold salad and snacks; and then
we studied on until nearly eleven o’clock.
Michael had to work the dinner shift at the Inn, but studied with us
before and after that; and then he went home at eleven too so that I could get
on with my bedtime computing, work, and language studies. Another blast of time-phasing was required to
get everything finished on my to-do list; it’s late again; and now I need to
crash and nap for a while. We’ve had fun
even with all of the work, but I’m running on empty and really need that bit of
sleep; so, until next time...
