I’ve hit the wall; so this is going to be a
micro-update.
Last night, I fell asleep soon after
getting cuddled and comfortable with Michael; and the twins woke us in time for
Tai Chi and breakfast. We had a good
morning both at home and church; and then Michael and I worked the full shift
at the Inn – and didn’t get much of an afternoon break because we helped out
with getting the rooms cleaned after our weekend guests headed home. Since they were also all wedding guests, they
were at the luncheon that was put on by the Bassett and Jennings families;
which is also why we were so busy at lunch as well as at both buffets. Some of the evening business was because of
customers that didn’t visit the Inn on Saturday because of the wedding
reception, but then Miranda expected to get busier as we head into the first
holiday weekend of the summer.
Michael and I didn’t get out of the Inn
until ten-thirty; I came straight home – and Michael made sure of that by
walking me there; so I only had a short visit with Mom and Dad before coming up
to bed and getting started on my extended bedtime computing session. Time phasing was required to keep up with
everything; that’s another reason for why I’m exhausted; and now I just want to
crash and nap for a couple of hours; so, until next time...
