Cassie's Journal - April 21, 2018

The sofa sleepover and alone time with Michael last night was great; we worked the breakfast shift; and then I did spring clean-up chores with Mom, Dad, and the twins for the rest of the day because we’re way behind on that work thanks to the weather issues we’ve had this spring.  Other than stopping for lunch and a break, we worked until nearly-seven; got cleaned up; and then had dinner in the sunroom.  We had Naomi and Aiden with us for that, and they’re spending the night here too; so that was a fun meal and then I helped Mom with the clean-up while Dad did some work and the kids took Silkie out for a walk to the park and back.

Michael’s coming over after he’s done work, and I wasn’t needed again tonight; so I’ve been hanging out with the twins and their friends while waiting for him to join us.  We’re going to have a camping night in the lounge, and that won’t be teen-rated fun for Michael and me; but we will have fun – and probably crash into nap mode before we get half-way through the movie the boys are getting to pick tonight.  I’ll let you know how that goes for us, but that’s all the news for today; and I’m going to get back to playing in the lounge.  Michael will be here soon unless they’re busier than I expect they’ve been tonight; so I won’t likely be awake that much longer anyway.

I won’t suggest this has been an amazingly-fun day, but we got a lot of work done; I enjoyed the time with Mom, Dad, and the twins; and we’ve had a bit of fun here and there too.  We also had a good weather day – and better than forecast; since we didn’t really get any rain and the temperature climbed into the low sixties.  Let’s not mess with that and hope for the best as we head into the end of April.  I’ll hope for the best for tonight, and it’s time to get to that play time now; so, until next time...

...May the Magi Force be with you!
