Cassie's Journal - January 25, 2018

Happy 2nd Birthday, Erica Bishop!

Michael and I sent a gift, but didn’t get in touch with her today – or at least we didn’t both do that.  Michael had a little chat with her while working dinner at the Inn; and is almost-sure that she has had a happy day – though it was, apparently, tough to tell for sure due to Erica’s limited vocabulary.

Our day wasn’t birthday-party fun, but I had less work than yesterday – at least until bedtime; and made a point of enjoying the nice weather today as temperatures climbed to the mid-sixties!  We had our lunch break outdoors; I went biking with the twins, Naomi, Aiden, and some other friends after school; and then Michael and I had some play time for two while skipping game night at the Inn – in part thanks to using a time phase so we had enough time for the studying, music practice, and a fairly-hot make-out session.  We did a bedtime Magi lesson with Mom; Michael went home after that; and I took care of the bedtime routine with the twins before coming up to my room and getting to my own work and studying.

I’ve had to stay up too late, but the play time today was worth the late-night cost.  It’s time for some napping now before I’ll need to be up and going again, though, and that’s pretty much all of the news I have for today; so, until next time...

...May the Magi Force be with you!
