We were back to warmer today, but started
out cool for Tai Chi by the river; and then warmed up to the mid-sixties.
Our school day was pretty good;
cheerleading practice was outdoors and lunchtime; and then we have been
studying for SAT’s again both after school and after dinner. We worked outdoors at the school while
Michael and Tim were busy with football practice; and at my house after dinner –
though Michael didn’t come over for that until after working most of the dinner
shift at the Inn.
That round of studying wrapped up at ten;
Michael, Rowen, Tim, and I had a few extra friends stay for our actual homework
after that; and then they all went home by a bit after eleven. Michael went home then too, but I did a Magi
lesson with Mom before coming up to my room; so it was midnight by the time I
got changed and into bed with Mandy. I’ve
been working since then; did a lot of that in a time phase; and now I need to
get started on my nap before it’ll just be time to get up and going again.
I really like helping my friends, and we
are having fun even with all of the extra work right now, but I will be glad to
get past these tests; and maybe get some extra sleep here and there once that
happens. Of course, we’ll hopefully be
into football playoffs until Thanksgiving, and then we’ll be into the Christmas
holidays after that, so I’m likely just hoping for something that isn’t going
to happen; but reality is no reason to give up on dreams! ;^)
Right now, all I’m dreaming about is some
quality nap time, and that’s all I have for tonight; so, until next time...
