Cassie's Journal - January 20, 2017

I am about to move on to some quality alone time with Michael that will include a sofa sleepover; so this is going to be a very short update.

Our mid-terms are done, and while it wasn’t a fun day for everyone; I had fun with our Chemistry, Music, and History exams.  Michael and I got to have a short break after school, and since the temperature climbed to around fifty degrees; we went to the park with Ethan, Ehlana, Naomi, and Aiden for some playground fun and biking before moving on to the Inn to help with the dinner rush.  I helped out because they were busy with extra customers coming to the Inn for dinner to celebrate the end of exams week.  That meant missing out on the family dinner and the first movie of our play time at home, but Michael and I did catch the second movie – and got to spend a bit of time with Grandma and Grandpa before they head out in the morning while also getting to have some cuddle time with Brianna.  The work at the Inn was busy; the movie and family time was fun but too short; and the goodbyes when our guests headed home wasn’t drawn-out because Grandma and Grandpa are going to have an early departure for the airport.

Michael and I will be working the breakfast shift, so we’ll be starting our day early too; and that’s another good reason for keeping this report to the bare minimum.  My weekend is shaping up to be more work than play, but we will have some fun too – starting with that Michael and me alone time and sofa sleepover.  I’m done getting ready for that; Michael is waiting for me; and I have no idea why I’m still doing this instead of cuddling with him right now; so, until next time...

...May the Magi Force be with you!
