Happy 80th Birthday, Grandma!
We helped out with her special day with gifts and a breakfast-time vid-chat that was also a highlight of our day because Cassie and Michael liked in with us for that on their Friday night local time in Darwin. Grandma and Grandpa are in New Orleans and the area as they continue to make their way around the Gulf of Mexico, and they’re getting a decent weather day, but it actually isn’t a lot warmer there compared to here – though that eight or ten degrees does make a difference. Let’s not get into how nice it is in Darwin, since even heading toward midnight; Cassie and Michael were still enjoying temperatures in the nineties.
Here at home, it was warm-enough again for Tai Chi by the river; and our high for the day barely-topped sixty. That is still enough for us to book another biking and play afternoon with our best friends that we’re about to get to now; so we need to move this update along and wrap it up soon. After that birthday vid-chat and breakfast, we went on to have a good day at school; we’re going to play for the rest of the day; and plan on having a co-ed night with our friends – which is why we’re writing this now instead of later. We may have extra friends over for dinner and the evening too, but we’ll keep you posted on that with our next report. We definitely need to have a band practice tonight, since we’re running out of time to get ready for the school dance and the seniors’ luncheon; so we’ll have fun either way – or with any and all combinations of entertainment we have tonight.
The bike trails are calling to us – along with the friends are meeting up at our house; so that’s all for today.
