Ehlana and Ethan:
We didn’t end up getting any rain today;
and we’ll keep dodging the wet forecast tonight; so this is a mini-update
before we head out for our socially-distanced camping adventure in the
Carrington and Everett back yards.
Thanks to the lack of rain, we had a play
morning of biking and park play; an afternoon outing to Quarry Lake that
included getting to try out the paddle boats and aqua-bikes as well as some fun
with our favorite activities like the rock wall and zip line; and then we just
finished up another family barbeque dinner before coming home to get our
overnight bags for the camping adventure.
The tents are set up; a campfire is on the schedule for dusk; and it is
going to be a beautiful, warm night.
We need to get back to the fun with our
family and best friends, so that’s all for now; and we’ll add any other news in
our next report.
