Ehlana and Ethan:
Our top news today is that grandma and
grandpa are already back in the country tonight thanks to a bit of luck and the
flight restrictions that allowed them to get on two earlier flights yesterday
and today while others weren’t allowed to take those flights. They’ll be home by around lunchtime tomorrow;
and are staying in a hotel now while waiting for that early-morning final
flight. The rest of our family business
volunteers are making progress getting back too, so we should have everyone
home by Thursday or Friday.
As for here at home, our day was very much
like yesterday. We had fun at school;
went biking with our friends for an hour and a half; and then we took another
picnic dinner to the lab and archives so that we could still work there for a
few hours. That was a blast; we came
home again by eight-thirty; and repeated the studying, Magi lesson, and music
play time before getting around to this twin-update and bedtime chat.
With grandma and grandpa getting home
tomorrow, our lab-archives plan for tomorrow has been cancelled, but we may
still get to have the after-school play time; and then we’ll be having a family
dinner followed by a family business meeting and study evening. That could make for a long day, so we’re
going to wrap this up; call it a night; and get some sleep.
