Time crunch!
Michael’s on his way over; I’m going to
keep him for another sofa sleepover; and don’t have time for a major update.
We had a great end to last night; the sofa
sleepover was great; and then we’ve pretty much gone non-stop since waking up
and getting ready for our work and play day.
The breakfast shift was quiet – probably because a lot of people from
around here went to Maple Valley instead.
That’s where we headed once Miranda set us free; we met up with my
family; had a blast at the winter festival; picked up all of our favorite maple
syrup-based treats; and then needed to be home in time to work the
dinner-to-close shift.
That was a quiet shift too, but we missed
out on most of the rain we got around here today while at the Inn; so the
weather didn’t get in the way of our fun at all. Rain or cold won’t be an issue for cuddling
with Michael all night either, but dragging this out will cut back on our time
together, since he’s right outside and on his way up to the front door now; so
I really have to go.
This isn’t much of a report for a really
great family and friends day, but I don’t want the fun to end; so I’m just
going to get back to it!
