Happy New Year’s Eve Day!
This update is coming to you early because
I’m on my afternoon break from the Inn; am getting ready for the New Year’s Eve
dinner and party there; and don’t plan on doing any computing later tonight –
possibly because I’ll bring Michael home and keep him for a sofa sleepover! ;^)
We had a fun morning that included helping
out with a major breakfast at Uncle Adam and Aunt Leanne’s house; Michael and I
were busy at church with the teen praise team for the first part of the last
service of twenty-seventeen; and then we headed straight for the Inn to get
ready for the lunch buffet. Miranda
decided to do that today since we’re only having the one buffet sitting as part
of the New Year’s Eve party tonight; and we had a full house for lunch – as well
as a sold-out Inn for the dinner and party tonight.
That means I worked my tail off at lunch
and will do the same tonight, but we’ll manage to fit in some fun along the way
– even if that has to wait for the sofa sleepover part of our celebration of
the New Year! I’ll have to write about
all of that tomorrow night, though, since I need to finish getting ready and
then head back to the Inn soon; so that’s all I have for the last update of
this year.
It has been an awesome year, but
twenty-eighteen is going to be amazing as Michael and I finish high school and
then move on to college; so there’s a lot to look forward to – starting with
the party tonight and that sofa sleepover with Michael! ;^)
I need to get back to the real world to do
all of that, though; so, until next YEAR...
