Cassie's Journal - August 16, 2017

It’s Wednesday; I worked all day and evening; and now I need to crash so I can get up in the morning and do it all again!

We had thunderstorms early this morning; another one tonight around dinnertime; and a hot, humid day the rest of the time around here.  The rain brought extra campers to town and into the Inn for meals; and I didn’t get to go out and play during much of the hot, sunny parts of the day because we were just that busy at the Inn.  Baseball practices were cancelled this evening, but I wouldn’t have been at my practice anyway because Miranda needed me more than my team did.

While I was busy, I missed out on a work afternoon at the lab for the twins; some kid play time; and some chores that I didn’t help out with because Mom let me get as much of my family business work finished as I could during my breaks from the Inn.  That’s the only reason I’m not writing this before heading to work for the breakfast shift, but my wake-up call for that will still feel too soon; so it’s time to wrap this up and head into nap mode.

I’ll try to sound more excited with my next update, since this one doesn’t capture the fun parts that go along with one of my work days, but tired out wins tonight; so, until next time...

...May the Magi Force be with you!
