Ehlana and Ethan:
We survived our babysitting night at the Carringtons! Our favorite parents had fun last night, so it was worth it, but it was also a challenging night; and the start to today was crazy-busy too while getting all of the kids fed and ready for church and Sunday school! We survived that too; managed to stay awake during the service and Sunday school; and then we were happy to have a quiet lunch with Mom and Dad and then escape to the lab or archives for a quiet work-play afternoon with our books or beakers! We went home in time for a quiet dinner-for-four; followed that up with a quiet evening; and now we’re shooting for an early bedtime following the bath or Jacuzzi time.
As we’re writing this, Cassie and Michael have already moved on to Laos and the capital city of Vientiane; and they have already gotten to work too. Laos has one of the smallest populations of the countries they are visiting on this trip, but we want to help; and can do a lot of good everywhere in Asia. Cassie and Michael will be in and near the capital until Wednesday; so they have a lot to do in that short period of time and have very long days planned to make that happen.
We’re not doing that tonight – mostly because we need to re-charge to be ready for our school week. That’s also why we’re going to skip a world news report – though we’re also good with not letting all of the bad or non-news dampen our general level of happiness. That is something that seems to be in short supply in a lot of the rest of the world, but we can do our part to make our own little corner of it a better place for all of our favorite people, so we’ll get back to doing that once we’re back to full-power again in the morning!
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
