Ethan and Ehlana:
This has been an awesome day – and we had a
blast last night too! Mom and Dad hosted
the family-and-friends’ dinner-and-movie night, so we helped out with the work
before and after dinner; Naomi and Aiden helped us out with a lot of that once
they caught up with us after packing overnight bags and checking in with their
families. Dinner was a pastas-and-sides
pot-luck; the first movie was family-rated and funny for the wrong reasons; and
then our co-ed sofa sleepover and second movie ended out day and school week on
a high that we really loved!
Tai Chi was indoors because it was around
freezing this morning; we had a snack-breakfast; and then we hit the road for
Maple Valley and the Maple Fest adventure.
We didn’t go as part of a major convoy, but did meet up with a
fairly-large gang of family and friends.
A pancakes and bacon brunch was the food highlight for all of us; we had
a blast with the shows and games and craft-type shopping; and that kept us busy
until mid-afternoon. Mom and Dad wanted
to get home by then so that Dad didn’t need to stay up late with his homework,
so we had time for a bit of trail biking; and then our best friends headed for
their own homes while we returned to a quiet dinner and evening with our
parents.
Our evening highlights included a vid-chat
with Cassie, Michael, Rowen, and Tim; a Magi lesson with Mom; and bath or
Jacuzzi time. That’s pretty much all of
our news for today too; so we’ll wrap this up and continue to wind down until
we’re ready to crash and nap for the rest of the night. That doesn’t seem like enough to cover all of
the awesome, but as usual, the details aren’t as important as all of the happy;
so we have included everything that really matters.
Until next time, live with love, fellow
Magi of the Light!
