Happy 2nd Birthday, Belinda Benton!
Mom dropped off a family gift for Belinda that was mostly from Cassie and Michael; and that was our only involvement in her special day. We do continue to be more-aware of these next-gen birthdays for Cassie’s and Michael’s friends and our young-adult cousins and their friends; and that’s sure to become more important to them when Cassie, Michael, Rowen, and Tim return home to stay next May.
By the way, while we’re thinking about that, Cassie and Michael’s house continues to come along ahead of schedule, but we should also mention that Rowen and Tim are planning on renting an apartment; and that will likely be in the building on the river; since they are very close to one of Aunt Leanne’s favorite nieces and might already have a unit with their name on it while Aunt Leanne is working on a first home purchase for the current occupants! ;^)
As for our day, it was a near-repeat of yesterday with a happy round of academic adventures that included play time while we get ready for the school Christmas concert; band practice after school with Naomi and Aiden; dinner with Mom and Dad; and an evening at the lab or archives that didn’t go as late tonight because Mom made sure that didn’t happen. We’re still tired, though, and need to get some sleep; so that’s also all we have for this report. That might not sound very exciting, but we’re happy; and want to do extra work now before we take a break for the holidays – especially once Cassie and Michael get home. That’ll be here sooner than it sometimes feels; so it’s time to move on and rest up for those adventures while we can!
