Ethan, Naomi, Ehlana, and Aiden:
We are all at Naomi’s for the night, and getting to have a school night co-ed sofa sleepover is definitely the highlight of our day! We had fun at school and with the music, dinner, and movies fun we’ve had since being set free from our classes; so we’re very happy as we wind down toward that co-ed nap time.
The top news of the day doesn’t have anything to do with us. Mom, Cassie, and Michael are in the city tonight; Jacob and Miranda went along just for the day trip and some Christmas shopping; and their entertainment highlight so far was having a Christmas dinner with the Malloys. While we’re sure there will be more fun for the two couples that are spending the night in the city and enjoying a five-star sleepover; we will not need or want those overnight details!
While some of our favorite adults are having a blast in the city, we should mention that our day has been especially-good thanks to getting to share most of our after-school time with Naomi’s parents without Eli. Don’t take that the wrong way – or maybe take it exactly as it might sound; since our day has been prank and practical joke free because Eli is with Zack instead of here with us. Liz and Philip are going to have a Zack and Eli night too; so we don’t have a problem with getting them to ourselves for a night; and the lack of younger sibling or cousin annoyances is an awesome bonus. Our band practice after school was really good; and we’re ready for the school dance and the rest of the music we’ll be doing at school or church during the next couple of weeks. The girls in the house picked the Christmas movies; and the guys did not have a problem with the quality cuddle time that went along with the Hallmark moments! ;^)
That’s pretty much all we have for tonight. Every day is filled with love and happiness for all of us, and that is what we should all want in our lives; so we are definitely blessed and grateful too. We’re also ready to get back to focusing on the co-ed cuddling and wind-down toward nap time; so we’re out of here!
