Ethan:
Replace morning chores with church and
Sunday school; cut back on the evening work and studying; and the rest of our
day was a near-repeat of yesterday. The
afternoon play time at the lab and archives was fun, and we’ve had a good day –
if not all that exciting; so I’m good with another short update and going to
sleep now – so I will.

I’ll just add the Cassie and Michael
update; and then get started on my nap too.
Cassie’s news is from yesterday because
Philippe started stalking her from the time they got to the library for their
study session. She tried working at the
interpretation and translation lab with a few of her friends, but he followed
her there too; and then followed her back to the library again for the rest of
their studying. Things got creepy from
there as he somehow found out the restaurant they were having dinner at with a
few of their friends; he had dinner-for-one there while watching her the entire
time; and then he was even-more-annoying when he went to the same movie with
them and then tried to get Cassie’s attention with hand gestures and other
non-verbal conversation meant to imply that she was out on a date with the
wrong guy.
After the movie, Philippe was being
insulted by some of Cassie’s friends; he overheard; and took offense – and confronted
them. While being rude to them, he then
still asked Cassie for a chance to talk with her; and she proved that she is a
Magi of the Light by agreeing and trying one more time to explain to him that
there would never be anything between them and it wasn’t his choice to make
anymore. Cassie doesn’t know for sure
whether that reality finally got through to him, but the only news from today
is that Philippe didn’t go anywhere near Cassie at all while she was at the
college and working on mid-term exams studying.
That’s a start, but I’ll keep you posted on how that goes for Cassie –
and for Michael. I haven’t written about
that, but he has been so patient with these problems with Philippe that he
deserves a medal or something.
Oh wait – he is getting to marry Cassie; so
that’s working out pretty well for him! ;^)
