Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 16th Birthday, Kaitlyn!
The only news that is important for Kaitlyn today is that she got her next-level driver’s license; and will be able to drive on her own. We’ll predict a large increase in her visits here; and fewer trips for Jeremy to see her in Granite Park!
Compared to birthday fun, or day has been quiet. Tai Chi by the river was chilly; our academic adventures included bonus music fun and two tests and a science experiment that Ehlana loved – and ‘won’ for her best-in-class mastery of physics. We played at the lab or archives after school while our friends enjoyed the warm weather while biking and playing at the park. We were home in time for dinner with Mom; game night at the Inn was a blast – and yes, Mom and Miranda won the senior team title for the week. Taking Silkie for a walk while seeing Naomi and Aiden home was triple-tasked with a late visit with Mandy at Cassie and Michael’s house, and while we haven’t mentioned it in every report; we have stopped in to see Mandy every day this week; and she gets regular visits from Mom, Brianna and Faith, and Rowen and Tim; so she is very happy. She’s also looking forward to having Cassie and Michael home again on Saturday; and we’re all feeling that way with just two more sleeps to go before they’ll be with us again!
That’s a happy note to wrap this up on, so we’ll do that; and get charged up again to be ready for our last school day and what we are sure will be an awesome weekend!
