Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 24th Birthday, Jen Wingborough!
We didn’t have any involvement in Jen’s birthday celebration; and probably wouldn’t want most of the details anyway – especially for the kid-free part of their day!
Moving along, it has cooled down a bit today; we’ve had some rain; and that’s why we’ve spent most of our day indoors. Tai Chi was still by the river, but we got damp on the walk home after the school band practice; and then we got rides to and from the lab so that we could play there for a few hours this evening. I had more fun with my books than Ehlana had with her beakers, but that is only because her experiment tonight didn’t go well; and my books love me! That’s only a half-joke, since I did have more fun than Ehlana did tonight, but that’s really only because I wasn’t doing any work that can get frustrating – like doing research on specific topics when that kind of information can be scattered throughout our eons-spanning archives. The details for our work aren’t really newsworthy, but we had fun; and then Mom gave us a ride home at a bit before ten o’clock.
We’ve been busy with our bedtime twin chat and computing since coming upstairs after a visit with Mom and Dad in the office; and now we’re pretty much ready to crash and nap. There isn’t any news updates from Cassie and Michael as we’re writing this; so that’s also all we have for this update. Stay tuned; since our Halloween-themed fun is going to kick up a few notches from here; and we are hoping for an awesome round of adventures through the end of the month!
