Ethan and Ehlana:
Our short school day is done! We’re about to head into the holiday weekend adventures; so this is just a quick, early update before we switch from school-mode to some chores to help Mom. Naomi and Aiden are busy with their own families for the rest of the day; so we’ll be hanging out here and with our incoming family as they arrive – though the Rice clan will be with the Carringtons this weekend; and the Proctors will stay with the Everetts.
As for our day-so-far, we have had a lot of fun, but no news to offer. The academic adventures were all about wrapping up Thanksgiving-themed learning modules; our breaks included a lot of gossip about weekend plans and potential for tween or teen drama; and the weather was nice-enough to make outdoor breaks warm and fun. We would have loved to have Naomi and Aiden stay for a sleepover tonight, but they do have their own families and need to spend time with them now and then; and this is one of those times! We’ll survive the separation; and still see them a lot this weekend. For now, that’s all we have for this report, and we really need to help Mom now; so we’re out of here.
