Ethan and Ehlana:
Congratulations, Stephanie and Jake – you’re pregnant again!
Compared to that now-official news; our normal, summertime adventures don’t seem very important; so this is going to be another short update.
Stephanie and Jake got the test results this morning from Uncle Adam; so we’ve had fun with that story since then – including a video chat with Cassie and Michael while he was on lunch break from the football training. That’s why we had lunch with Mom instead of going along for the picnic at the park that a lot of our friends did, but the digital time with our big sister and brother-in-law was more-important. Naomi and Aiden thought so too; so they were with us for lunch too.
Moving along – and backing up a bit; the rest of the news from yesterday included a cool-down swim after watching bits of both Brianna’s and Faith’s practices; dinner for five with Mom; and an evening that included a bike ride along part of the new trail toward Quarry Lake that four-out-of-six parents came with us for; a group bedtime snack; a moonlight swim; and a movie-and-co-ed-cuddle-time wrap up to our day before getting around to the co-ed camping sleepover fun. We had a couple of hours of chores to do again this morning; visited the lab for another two hours; and got home again in time for that video chat and lunch break. We’ve biked the trails and stayed cool in the river since then; and this break is ahead of our next round of baseball practices – starting with Zack’s practice and our side of the pizzeria pizza picnic dinner before we’ll be busy with our own practices with the Harpies or Bards.
We’re going to have another camping night with Naomi and Aiden, but other than that; we don’t really have any plans for tonight; so you won’t miss anything important from the rest of our day. We do need to get going again, though; so, until next time...
